Knoxville Celebrates Sobriety Success: Twelve Graduates Honored at Day Reporting Center Ceremony

A graduation ceremony in Knoxville honored twelve individuals for completing the Knoxville Day Reporting Center (DRC), an outpatient treatment program providing an alternative to incarceration for substance abuse. The program, part of the 2016 Public Safety Act, offers cognitive behavioral therapy, counseling, community service, and job readiness training.

Over 150 people have graduated from this year-long program. The event marked a significant achievement for the graduates and the success of the DRC in aiding recovery and offering a substitute to prison for those struggling with substance abuse.
