Central High School Student Injured in Hit and Run While Walking to School

In light of a recent troubling incident near Central High School, it is crucial to remember the importance of vigilant and cautious driving, especially in school zones and during morning commute hours.

Our community faced a heart-wrenching moment when a student of Central High School was involved in a hit-and-run accident. The student, who was walking to school, suffered minor scrapes and a head injury. Thankfully, the injuries were not life-threatening.

This unfortunate event serves as a stark reminder of the responsibilities we bear as drivers, particularly in areas where students are present. School zones are not just another part of our daily route; they are spaces filled with the future of our community - our children.
