TVAs Urgent Appeal to KUB Customers: Reduce Power Use Amidst East Tennessee's Cold Wave
In response to the extreme cold in East Tennessee, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is urging KUB customers to reduce their power usage. TVA has implemented several measures to combat the cold, including adding heat tracing technology and insulation to pipes and sheltering equipment affected by the weather.
This call for reduced power use comes as KUB faces increased demand for electricity due to the cold weather.
Despite Weather & Road Conditions, The Show ‘Wicked’ Will Go On At The Tennessee Theatre

Move Me Tennessee
In the heart of Knoxville, there's a moving company that embodies the spirit of community and dedication. Move Me Tennessee, led by a local family man and business owner, Josh Ault, has been a pillar of reliability and trust for 15 years. With an A+ rating from the BBB, this local gem has thrived on word-of-mouth, forgoing traditional advertising for a commitment to quality and trusted service.
What sets Move Me Tennessee apart is not just its impeccable service record, but the ethos of its owner. A father to two girls and a benefactor to the elderly, he has often moved residents into nursing homes and assisted living facilities, sometimes at a loss, driven by a sense of community and a big heart. This dedication to service extends to his business philosophy, where he maintains a small team of highly trusted employees, ensuring that each move is handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
Despite the challenges brought by the current housing market fluctuations, Move Me Tennessee continues to uphold its exceptional service standards. The company's success is partly due to its owner's commitment to maintaining a small, dedicated team. Finding individuals who meet his stringent criteria for professionalism and care is no easy task, yet this careful selection process ensures that every move is managed with unparalleled attention to detail and respect for clients' belongings. The company has successfully undertaken countless cross-country moves to destinations as far-reaching as California, Florida, New York, and Boston, demonstrating a versatility and readiness to meet any challenge.
In these slower times, a little support from the community can go a long way. Move Me Tennessee represents more than just a moving service; it's a testament to the impact a small business can have on its community through dedication, hard work, and a genuine desire to help.
As we spotlight Move Me Tennessee, we're not just sharing a story of a local business, but celebrating a member of our community who has made a difference in the lives of many, one move at a time.
For more information about Move Me Tennessee and to support a business that truly moves our community, reach out to Josh Ault at (865) 922-1369 or [email protected] . Together, let's help keep Knoxville moving with heart and quality service.
