Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) to Implement Severe Snow Routes Starting Today
The Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) has announced plans to initiate Severe Snow Routes beginning today.
During this period, bus services will be operational solely on the following routes: Kingston Pike, Western Avenue, Broadway, Magnolia Avenue, and Chapman Highway, adhering to the usual service timings.
Should the road conditions become favorable, KAT will revert to its standard Snow Routes. For the latest information, please keep an eye on KAT's social media channels or visit their website at www.KATbus.com.
Music Legends Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire Set to Light Up Knoxville in 2024
Exciting news for local music fans! Legendary musician Lionel Richie, accompanied by the iconic band Earth, Wind & Fire, is set to perform here in 2024. This visit is part of Richie's extended "Sing A Song All Night Long" tour.
We have the honor of being the first stop on this new leg of the tour. Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire will grace the stage at the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on Thursday, May 23rd.
