Woman Involved in Fatal Drag Racing Incident Faces Additional Driving Charges

A woman with a history of traffic violations has now been charged with driving while her license was suspended. Trinity Clark, 22, encountered legal trouble again following a traffic stop on Valentine’s Day, which led to charges of driving on a suspended license and driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.

This is not Clark’s first encounter with the law. She, along with another driver, Tra’Shawn Glass, were linked to a drag racing event that took a fatal turn in January 2023. During the race on Magnolia Avenue, it is alleged they ran a red light, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. The devastating crash resulted in one fatality and left two children in critical condition.

Facing severe legal consequences, Clark has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide, six counts of drag racing, three counts of aggravated assault, and driving with a revoked license from an incident in August 2023.

Local Dog Owner Charged After Unleashed Pet Attacks Teen on Way to School Bus Stop

A local dog owner has been charged following an incident in which their unleashed dog attacked a 14-year-old boy, causing him severe facial injuries.

The attack occurred as the teenager was making his way to a school bus stop authorities report. The Knoxville Police Department confirmed the boy was attacked by an off-leash pit bull mix and subsequently received medical treatment at the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

At The Jukebox: Bringing Music and Memories to Knoxville's Seniors

In today's Knoxville Insider business spotlight, we're excited to feature At The Jukebox a unique music entertainment service dedicated to seniors. This business has been enriching the lives of seniors through music for three years.

Founded and operated by Mitch Townley, At The Jukebox (ATJ) began its journey in 2021. Mitch, who has been the Children's Pastor at West Hills Presbyterian since 1996, is also an accomplished songwriter with numerous independent artist cuts, a song in a documentary about the Vietnam Memorial, and another featured in the TV show Nashville. His song “This Side Of Sunday” was even awarded the 2018 Inspirational Country Song of the Year by the Inspirational Country Music Association. Along with Lena Anderson and Gary Gilleran and later joined by John Rose in 2023, Mitch saw the need for a quality, interactive, professional music program for seniors, leading to the inception of ATJ.

What sets ATJ apart is its professional interactive sing-along program, designed especially for seniors. Featuring music from their younger years, ATJ offers a nostalgic and engaging experience. The program is flexible, available for booking by both senior centers and individuals, and is known for its reasonable pricing and excellent reviews.

Community involvement is a key aspect of ATJ's philosophy. They have offered discounted rates for senior centers with limited budgets, demonstrating their commitment to accessibility and community service.

Looking ahead, ATJ aims to expand its reach and deepen its relationships with seniors and those who serve them in the Knoxville area. This expansion is not just about growing their business but about enhancing the quality of life for seniors through the joy of music.

For those interested in bringing the unique experience of At The Jukebox to a senior community or individual, Mitch Townley is the person to contact. You can reach him at [email protected] or call at (865) 660-3792. More information about their services and mission can be found on their website.

Join us in celebrating At The Jukebox, a business that's making a real difference in the lives of seniors in Knoxville, one song at a time.
