Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months
That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.
Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.
Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.
New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

East Tennessee's Young Musicians Take the Big Stage

The Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestras (KSYO) open their new season with their annual Fall Concert on November 17th, featuring student musicians from across East Tennessee. KSYO's ensembles range from beginning string players to its advanced Youth Orchestra, so the evening showcases young talent at every level, all on one historic stage.
It's a wonderful night out for families at the Tennessee Theatre (604 S. Gay Street), a great way to introduce kids to live orchestral music, and a chance to support the next generation of Knoxville's musicians. Past fall concerts have been free for students, with low-cost adult tickets. More Info

A Poet of Liberty - Blount Mansion Explores Phillis Wheatley and the Black American Revolution

During the American Revolution, as colonists argued about liberty and freedom, one of the era's most remarkable voices belonged to a young poet who was enslaved in Boston: Phillis Wheatley.
Blount Mansion's (200 W. Hill Avenue) Semiquincentennial Celebration Lecture Series, honoring America's 250th anniversary, wraps up its fall run with Dr. Katy Chiles presenting "Phillis Wheatley and the Black American Revolution" on November 12th, at 6:00 PM.
Dr. Chiles will explore how Wheatley's poetry wrestled with liberty, freedom, and slavery, and how she helped launch the African American literary tradition. Chiles is an associate professor of English and affiliate faculty in Africana Studies at the University of Tennessee, author of Transformable Race (Oxford University Press), and co-editor of the journal Early American Literature.
The lecture is free, with a $10 donation suggested at the door (cash or card), and light refreshments will be served. Limited free parking is available onsite. Sponsored by the National Society of Colonial Dames Knoxville Town Committee. More Info & RSVP.
