Your Backyard Renovation List Is Missing Something

Every backyard renovation has a list. New deck. Better lighting. Maybe that outdoor kitchen you've been pinning for years.
Here's what usually gets left off: shelter. Without it, your brand-new patio is only as good as the weather forecast. A Hansø pergola fixes that.
Built from T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and engineered for up to 167 mph winds and up to 65 PSF snow load, it keeps your patio covered, comfortable, and in use from spring through winter. Motorized louvers let you decide how much sky you want, anytime.
Early Bird Offers EXTENDED: save up to 40% on pergolas, plus a $1,000 installation voucher, a Free Hansø ProCheck Care™ 10-Year Plan worth $950, FREE heater and more.
The list is long. Make sure the most important thing is on it.

RiverView Family Farm's 13th Annual Holiday Barn Sale - Shop Local at the Farm

Skip the crowded malls and the shipping delays this year. RiverView Family Farm (12124 Prater Lane) is hosting its 13th Annual Holiday Barn Sale, a two-day shopping event packed with your favorite local vendors, on December 4th–5th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM both days.
It's holiday shopping with a country twist: browse gifts from local makers and small businesses, pick up something special for everyone on your list, and enjoy a festive morning on the farm. And because you're buying in person, no worrying about holiday shipping!
Parking is limited, so the farm asks shoppers to carpool with friends.
A note for vendors: RiverView has warned that scammers are commenting on its posts claiming to sell vendor spots. The farm sends out its own information and applications and does not accept Venmo or PayPal. When in doubt, contact the farm directly using the phone numbers on its website.

Business Doctor Tip: Referrals Are Your Most Profitable Customers
A referred customer arrives already trusting you. That means you can close at a higher level, charge more, and keep more margin. So don't leave referrals to chance. Put a simple system in place, take action on it every week, and hold yourself accountable. Predictable referrals mean predictable revenue.

Dance Through Autumn at November's Sacred Circle Dance

The sugar maples are glowing, the cider is flowing, and the winter squash is piling up. Time to celebrate the season on the dance floor! Kevin Meyer and Diane Shenk host November's Sacred Circle Dance on November 14th, at 3:00 PM at West Knoxville Friends Meeting House (1517 Meeting House Road).
Every dance is taught, and no experience or partner is needed. Just come ready to join the circle. Sacred circle dances draw on folk and traditional dances from around the world, and they're a joyful, low-key way to move, connect, and unwind.
Two things to note:
The group is moving to its earlier winter start time of 3:00 PM; This is the only gathering in November, so don't miss it!
Can't make it in person? You can join online via YouTube Live at youtube.com/@kemilmeyer. If you sign in with a free YouTube account, you can post greetings and comments during the session.
Suggested donation: $5–$10. Music and dance details will be posted ahead of time at InTheDance.com.
