Exploring Wellness and Innovation - A Firsthand Account of the Wellness Innovation Summit

This past Saturday, our team had the remarkable opportunity to attend the Wellness Innovation Summit at the Knoxville Convention Center, an event that truly lived up to its promise of being an unforgettable journey into the realms of health, wellness, technology, and social impact. Presented by Crunchy Mama Box in collaboration with Authority Magazine, the summit gathered minds from diverse sectors to share insights, trends, and transformative experiences.

The evening was packed with enlightening talks from industry leaders who offered fresh perspectives on the evolving landscape of wellness and innovation. Notable speakers included tech entrepreneur Wedge Martin, who unveiled the latest intersections between technology and wellness, alongside experts like Dr. Leslie Dobson and Emily Steines, each contributing unique views on health and sustainability.

The event also celebrated the launch of "Women in Wellness," a book spotlighting the journeys of 35 female leaders in the wellness space, authored by Wanda Malhotra. Learn More about this book / purchase.

Our experience at the summit was not just educational; it was transformative. The diversity of topics, the quality of discussions, and the palpable enthusiasm for innovation and health left us inspired.

Eclipse Experience - When & How to Watch Safely

We are set to witness a partial solar eclipse on Monday, with the event kicking off at approximately 1:49pm and concluding at 4:23 p.m. The peak of the eclipse, where the moon will cover about 89% of the sun, is expected at approximately 3:07pm, as reported by eclipse2024.org. When viewing the eclipse, ensure you are protecting your eyes with eclipse glasses.

NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship Game

In NCAA Women’s Basketball, South Carolina and Iowa played, with South Carolina winning, undefeated the entire season, with a final score of 87 - 75!
