The KAT Reimagined Plan - Enhanced Routes and Schedules Starting This August

The Knoxville Transportation Authority recently gave the green light to the final routes and schedules for Knoxville Area Transit's "KAT Reimagined" initiative.

The approved changes include adjustments such as refining scheduling details on Route 22 and restoring direct services to Flenniken Landing on Route 45.

KAT Reimagined promises several improvements: increased bus frequency on key routes, uniform service throughout the week, better job access, and a new downtown connector route that offers a bus every 12 minutes, facilitating eight buses per hour to and from the University of Tennessee campus.

The updated KAT Reimagined bus network is set to roll out on August 26th.
