Knoxville Students Gather in a Powerful Display of Faith
Knoxville experienced a truly inspiring event this week at the Thompson-Boling Arena. Over 5,500 students came together with the shared purpose of honoring and praising Jesus. It was a powerful demonstration of community and spirituality.
The service was deeply impactful, culminating in hundreds of students deciding to dedicate their lives to their faith. The evening concluded with a poignant moment as over 120 students participated in water baptisms outside the arena, with the scenic Neyland Stadium as a backdrop.
This event is part of a broader spiritual revival happening on college campuses across the nation.
May the 4th be with you at the Kraken’s Cup
On Saturday, May 4th from 11am - 4pm, have a cup of tea with a jawa and enjoy the afternoon with a tuscan raider! Their humble team room on the edge of the galaxy is the perfect spot to have lunch on Star Wars day!
Wear your favorite Star Wars clothes, costumes, and accessories (no blasters, please, this is a restricted area 😉 ) and get a free butter cookie! Their friends at Nirvana Comics will also be providing some free swag (limited quantities) to help celebrate! Food and tea are available for purchase (standard reservations for lunch, tea, or snack). The Kraken’s Cup is located at 4815 N Broadway, Suite 107.
