WWII Stearman Biplane Takes Veterans on a Special Flight

A World War II-era Stearman biplane took off from Island Home Airport carrying some very special passengers. Seven veterans from Arbor Terrace Assisted Living enjoyed a 20-minute flight over Knoxville, thanks to Dream Flights, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring our nation's heroes.

These flights offer veterans a nostalgic journey and a thrilling experience, rekindling memories and excitement from their past. More Info about Dream Flights.
