Mayor Jacobs to Host Sixth Annual School Mania

Mayor Jacobs will host his sixth annual School Mania event, providing free school supplies and resources for students. The event will take place on Friday, July 26th, from 3pm-6pm at the Jacobs Building in Chilhowee Park.

Families can enjoy various activities, giveaways, and community resources aimed at ensuring students are prepared for the upcoming school year. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to support our local students!

In addition, on Saturday, July 27th many partners will hold similar events from 9am-11am, and one partner from 5pm-8pm, More Info

Tennessee Whiskey Riverboat Cruise

Whiskey on the River cruise is featuring Tennessee Whiskey on Monday, August 22nd. This is a fantastic event at a terrific venue. Come learn about and sample whiskies while enjoying the sites cruising the Tennessee River. More Info

Kid A' Riffic Fun in the Park

Get ready for some summer fun with Kid A'Riffic Fun in the Park, an exciting event for children ages 2-12. This event offers hands-on crafts and activities provided by various City departments and entities, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all attendees.

Kid A'Riffic Fun in the Park will take place on Wednesday, July 31 from 10am -1pm at the World’s Fair Park. The event promises a variety of activities, from crafting and games to other interactive experiences, all designed to create lasting memories for kids on their summer vacation.

Early Voting Details

The primary elections for the U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate, and Tennessee House of Representatives will take place on Thursday, August 1st. Additionally, several Knox County elections will be decided through a general election on the same day.

Early voting is from Friday, July 12th through Saturday, July 27th.
