"Ask A Business Lawyer" Event with Knoxville Business Growth Collaborative

The Knoxville Business Growth Collaborative (KBGC) invites you to a free, hands-on Q&A session with business lawyer Chris Trump. This event will take place on Tuesday, August 13th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, 17 Market Square. It will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Business owners, entrepreneurs, and anyone with legal questions are encouraged to attend this interactive session. Chris Trump, a seasoned attorney specializing in business law, will provide valuable insights and answer questions on topics ranging from company formation to financing and mergers.

This event offers a great opportunity to connect with like-minded business owners and gain practical legal advice in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Join Gypsy Circus for the Second Annual Out-Cider 5K!

We're excited to announce the return of the Second Annual Out-Cider 5K, promising another year of fun, fitness, and fruity refreshments! After the success of our first race, we’re thrilled to invite runners, cider enthusiasts, and families to join us for this special event.

Date & Time: August 10th, 2024, at 10 AM
Location: Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus, 621 Lamar Street, Knoxville, TN

Event Highlights:

  • A Scenic 5K Course: Get ready to lace up your running shoes and traverse the picturesque and historic neighborhood of Fourth and Gill. This course offers a beautiful backdrop for runners of all levels.

  • Cider Tasting: All participants over the age of 21 will receive a free Raindancer cider. After the race, head to our taproom and kitchen, The Bohemian, where you can enjoy brunch and even order a flight of our refreshing ciders.

  • Awards & Prizes: Compete for top honors in various age categories and take home fantastic prizes. Whether you’re racing to win or just for fun, there’s something for everyone.

  • Family-Friendly Activities: This event is perfect for the whole family! Bring the kids along for a day of excitement with activities designed just for them.

Race Day Details:

The event kicks off with a packet pickup, ensuring a smooth start for all participants. We encourage you to pick up your race packet on August 9th from 4-7 PM to avoid long lines on race day. The race itself begins at 10 AM on August 10th, so arrive early to get settled and ready.

After you cross the finish line, our taproom will be open, along with our kitchen, ready to serve you a well-deserved brunch. Celebrate your achievement with delicious food and refreshing cider, and stick around for the awards ceremony, where top finishers in various categories will be recognized.

Registration Fees:

  • August 9th: $30

  • August 10th: $40
