The East Tennessee Historical Society proudly presents the 3rd annual History Hootenanny on August 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the East Tennessee History Center. This year’s event celebrates the vibrant musical heritage of East Tennessee with a theme of “Music in East Tennessee,” marking the closing of the feature exhibition, They Sang What They Lived: The Story of Carl and Pearl Butler.
