Ancient Sounds: Dinner in the Fork & Silent Auction at Historic Ramsey House
Prepare for an extraordinary evening of delicious food and enchanting music at the "Dinner in the Fork," kicking off the Ancient Sounds Music Festival on August 30th, 2024. Starting at 6:00 PM on the picturesque grounds of the Historic Ramsey House, this event promises a memorable experience combining the best of Southern cuisine and live music.
Guests will indulge in mouthwatering creations by Sweet P's BBQ, famous for their flavorful barbecue and savory side dishes. Your ticket also includes one complimentary Sugarlands Distilling signature cocktail, Schulz Brau Brewing beer, wine, or soft drink, with tea included with dinner. As you enjoy the delicious food, immerse yourself in live performances by two featured artists of the evening: WestWend and Four Leaf Peat.

Knoxville Asian Festival at World’s Fair Park
Get ready for a vibrant cultural celebration at the Knoxville Asian Festival on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM at World’s Fair Park. This annual event promises a day full of authentic foods, thrilling performances, and traditional activities that showcase the rich and diverse cultures of several Asian countries, including Japan, Indonesia, China, The Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Nepal, and Pakistan.
The day kicks off with the Asian Cultural Parade at 10:30 AM, starting at the Water Fountain on the Festival Lawn and concluding at the Amphitheater stage. This colorful parade is just the beginning of an exciting day filled with cultural experiences.
Throughout the festival, each country will have its own booth featuring food vendors, unique activities, and live performances that highlight the traditions and artistry of their culture. In addition to the country booths, there will be ongoing performances at the Amphitheater and on two other stages, offering nonstop entertainment throughout the day.
Whether you’re a fan of delicious Asian cuisine, interested in traditional crafts, or just looking to enjoy a day of lively performances, the Knoxville Asian Festival is an event not to be missed.
