PHOTO EXPO: Lens and Light

The Professional Photographers of East Tennessee (PPETN) are hosting PHOTO EXPO: Lens and Light, a juried exhibition at the Knoxville Museum of Art (KMA) from October 25 to December 15, 2024. The exhibit will feature over 30 photographic prints from regional photographers in the Kramer Gallery.

“This is a great opportunity for our members to showcase their talents at such a prestigious venue,” said Jack Retterer, expressing excitement about the collaboration with KMA.

The works were selected by Dr. Carl Gombert, a renowned Knoxville artist and professor emeritus at Maryville College, ensuring a diverse and high-quality display of photography. An Artists’ Reception will be held at the KMA on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 PM, where attendees can meet the photographers and see the works up close. Awards for Best of Show, 1st Place, and Artistic Distinction will be announced, and select pieces will be available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public. More Info
