Cherokee Caverns Christmas in the Cave
Bring the family and join us for an underground Christmas wonderland at Historic Cherokee Caverns! Enjoy themed scenes, photo ops, thousands of twinkling lights, festive music and lots of family fun along the stalagmites and stalactites! Get your photo with Santa or The Mean One!
Shop the vendor booths for locally made gift items and sweet treats! Enjoy a craft for the kids or a kiddie ride! Grab dinner at The Grotto or enjoy a cup of hot cocoa by the campfire! Shop the vendor booths for locally made gifts and yummy treats.
The cave path is stroller and wheelchair friendly, and the cave is a comfortable 58 degrees year-round.

Friday, December 6th - 5pm-8pm
Saturday, December 7th - 3pm-8pm
Sunday, December 8th - 3pm-8pm

Admission is $15 per person for ages 4 & up. Children 3 & under are admitted free.
Photos with Santa or The Mean One are sold separately.
Purchase tickets in advance online at cherokeecaverns.com or at the ticket booth. Cash and credit cards accepted. Parking is free.
Historic Cherokee Caverns is located at 8524 Oak Ridge Highway in the Karns community.
It’s Pecan Time!
Get ready for holiday baking and snacking while supporting a great cause! The First Lutheran Church youth group is selling a variety of delicious nuts to help fund their youth trips.
Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas, you can stock up on Mammoth Pecan Halves or Medium Pecan Pieces (1lb) for $13 per bag, or grab Mixed Nuts, Roasted & Salted Cashews, or Roasted & Salted Pistachios in Shell (1lb) for $10 per bag. West Knox Senior Center Craft Fair: on Friday, November 15th from noon - 3:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend! Find great holiday gifts for family and friends, whether it be sewn items, woodworking, candles, handmade jewelry, paper crafts, seasonal decorations, and treats. The Friends of the Library, in partnership with Oliver Hospitality, are hosting a one-time, behind-the-scenes event at the historic Andrew Johnson Hotel on Friday, November 15, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The "Meet Me at the AJ" event, presented by First Century Bank, will offer guests a sneak peek of the hotel before renovations begin. This special fundraiser will benefit the Knox County Public Library's Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound (TAMIS). Tickets are available at knoxfriends.org and include a year-long membership to Friends of the Library.

Christmas Parades 2024
Our local Christmas parades start tonight! They snuck up quickly! 🎄Tonight’s parade will be at Pinnacle at Turkey Creek from 6pm-9pm. This parade includes Santa's Arrival, & Tree Lighting/on the green between Talbots and Loft.
Saturday, a Claiborne County Christmas will take place in Tazewell, with details in the image below:
