Knox County Commission Advances Belltown Development
The Knox County Commission has approved a funding agreement to widen Coward Mill Road, a step toward the proposed 1,100-acre Belltown development. Located near Pellissippi Parkway, Belltown will include homes, schools, businesses, and parks.
While the project promises growth, concerns were raised about traffic impacts and environmental preservation. Developers and county officials emphasize infrastructure improvements as key to managing growth responsibly.
