Trivia Night Tonight at Finn’s

Take a break from the holiday hustle and enjoy some friendly competition at Trivia Night tonight at Finn’s Restaurant and Tavern, located at 9000 Kingston Pike. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m., and participation is free!

How Do YOU Brew?

Discover the diverse techniques and vessels for brewing tea. The class will delve into "Eastern" versus "Western" brewing methods, discuss the significance of time and temperature in crafting the ideal cup, and examine different tea brewing and serving vessels from across the globe.

The fee covers tea and snacks provided during the session, worksheets and a brewing guide, plus a personal-sized teapot for you to continue your practice at home. Limited seating- $35 per guest. Tickets

Katie Holt in Conversation with Clare Gilmore: Union Ave Books is thrilled to host Katie Holt in conversation with Clare Gilmore for a special event featuring Holt’s debut novel, Not in My Book. Join them on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Union Ave Books, located at 517 Union Ave., Knoxville.

Not in My Book is a witty and heartfelt enemies-to-lovers romance, where opposites clash—and attract. The story follows Rosie, a passionate Peruvian American romance writer, and Aiden, a surly literary fiction author, as they reluctantly team up to co-write a novel that blends their contrasting genres. As the sparks fly, both on and off the page, their manuscript becomes a journey of self-discovery, rivalry, and love.

Katie Holt, a Tennessee native and NYU graduate, brings a fresh voice to the romance genre, combining humor, heart, and a celebration of happy endings.
