Knoxville Offers Free Boxing Classes for Children and Adults
Are you searching for a fun and engaging new hobby for your child—or even yourself? The City of Knoxville, in partnership with Knoxville Golden Gloves, offers free boxing classes and training for children and adults up to age 40.
Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the "Ace" Miller Golden Gloves Arena, located in the Kerr Building at Chilhowee Park. With no fees, dedicated coaches, and all necessary equipment provided, it’s an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of boxing.
Boxing offers a wide range of benefits, particularly for youth. It improves physical fitness, enhances coordination and agility, and boosts self-confidence. Participants also develop discipline, learn stress management techniques, and gain self-defense skills—all while enjoying healthy social interactions and setting personal goals.
As a parent who had both a son and daughter participate in this program, I can personally attest to the positive impact it had on their lives. The supportive environment, skilled coaching, and camaraderie made it an unforgettable experience.
Whether you're looking to improve fitness, build confidence, or explore a new sport, this program is a fantastic resource for the Knoxville community. Don’t miss this chance to get involved! More Info
