Farragut Community Center to Host Health and Wellness Fair

Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Farragut Health & Wellness Expo, presented by Turkey Creek Medical Center/Tennova and organized by Shop Farragut in partnership with the Town of Farragut. This exciting event will feature over three dozen local businesses and organizations dedicated to enhancing the health of your body, mind, and spirit. Saturday, January 11, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd.

  • Health Services and Products: Explore booths offering everything from hearing tests by Beltone to fitness insights from One Nation Spin & Sculpt. Discover skincare demos by JC Penney Beauty & Salon, and meet vendors like Campbell Station Jazzercise, Apotheca, Clean Eatz, Thrive Physical Therapy, and many more.

  • Workshops & Presentations:

    • 11:00 AM: Nutrition workshop by Farragut RN and certified Health Coach Karyn Smydra, “Empowering Your Health Through Nutrition.”

    • 1:00 PM: Tennova Medical Professionals will host "AFIB 101" and other heart health discussions.

  • Wellness Pavilion: Crunchy Mama Box Wellness Resources will host a pavilion showcasing unique health products with sustainable packaging.

  • Food Truck: Grab a bite from MUCHO GUSTO Food Truck, offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options.

2025 Southeast Overland Camping Swap Meet and Training Day

Gear up for an exciting winter event packed with everything an overland enthusiast could ask for! The TNToverlander Southeast Overland Camping Swap Meet and Training Day will be held at XGrid Campers in Knoxville, offering a weekend full of activities, training sessions, vendor displays, and camaraderie around the fire.

  • Friday, January 31: The weekend kicks off with a Swap Meet, where attendees can buy, sell, or trade overlanding and camping gear. Vendors will showcase new products, and XGrid Campers will host an open house, allowing visitors to explore their top-quality campers. Enjoy great food, fireside chats, and a lively parking lot party with fellow adventurers.

  • Saturday, February 1: Dive into a full day of training classes, covering topics like vehicle recovery, first aid, off-grid communications, mapping, tire repair, dual battery systems, and extended off-grid camping. Sessions will cater to all skill levels, from seasoned adventurers to beginners, with specialized courses like OverlandHER Safe and Solo Camping for women explorers.

The Swap Meet will be held indoors and outdoors on Friday evening. Got extra gear to sell?
