2025 Pop-Up Opera Party
The 2025 Pop-Up Opera Party, Marble City Opera’s annual fundraising gala will take place in the Dogwood Center at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
The event features multiple operatic performances popping up during the course of the evening as singers who have been mingling among the guests burst into song. This year’s performers include MCO Executive Artistic Director Kathryn Frady, Whitney Wells, Maurice Hendricks, April Hill, Daniel Spiotta, Jacqueline Brecheen, and the MCO ensemble, all accompanied by Brandon Coffer on piano.
The Pop-Up Opera Party will be catered by Holly’s Gourmet’s Market and Cafe. There will be a signature cocktail and other beverages. A live auction will offer one-of-a-kind experiences and specialty items.
Individual tickets or full tables are available for purchase as well as sponsorship opportunities at various levels. Sponsorships include attendance at a pre-event reception with an additional operatic performance, recognition in the event program, on Marble City Opera’s website, and social media. Some sponsorship levels also include tickets to upcoming performances.
Marble City Opera brings world class singers, directors, and conductors to the stage while maintaining a dedication to creating opportunities for local, regional, and emerging artists. Marble City Opera is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with strong community ties and connections to other organizations, businesses, non-profits, schools, and artists within Knoxville, and the East Tennessee community.
