Poet and Editor Mary Biddinger to Speak at UT Creative Writing Series
The University of Tennessee Creative Writing Program is thrilled to host poet and editor Mary Biddinger for a reading on Monday, February 10, at 7 PM in the Lindsey Young Auditorium at John C. Hodges Library on the UT Campus. This event is free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience Biddinger’s celebrated work firsthand.
Mary Biddinger is the author of numerous acclaimed works, including her latest poetry collection, Department of Elegy. She is also the co-editor of A Mollusk Without a Shell: Essays on Self-Care for Writers. Biddinger teaches creative writing at the University of Akron and in the NEOMFA program while serving as poetry and poetics editor for the Akron Series in Poetry at the University of Akron Press.
