Sweat, Burn, Recover: My HOTWORX Experience and Why You Should Try It!

I had the chance to visit HOTWORX for a cardio workout and stretch session—both inside an infrared sauna—and I must say, I AM SOLD!

Plan to arrive a little early to get a quick tutorial at your first visit (less than 10 minutes). You’ll need to sign a waiver and learn how to adjust the temperature in your sauna. If your chosen workout requires additional equipment, it will be provided for you. All you need to bring is workout gear, athletic shoes, and a readiness to sweat!

The cardio workout itself was amazing. I chose the HOT BLAST class, which involves riding a bike that engages both your legs and arms for a solid 15-minute session. The virtual training is easy to follow and offers three intensity levels, so you can choose based on your ability. You also have control over the bike’s resistance and any modifications you may need. A friendly warning—you will SWEAT!

After that workout, I opted for a stretch class. HOT STRETCH is a 30-minute session that guides you through a series of stretches that feel incredible. It’s a relaxing class, but you can definitely feel your muscles working. And yes, you will SWEAT here too!

Now, I have to share—I’m not in my 20s anymore; that ship sailed about two decades ago! As a woman over 45 navigating the challenges that come with this stage of life, I found these workouts entirely manageable due to their customizable nature. In fact, I loved it so much that I joined on the spot!

If you're looking for a powerful workout with the added benefits of an infrared sauna, HOTWORX is definitely worth trying. The advantages are plenty—enhanced muscle recovery, detoxification, stress relief, weight loss, lower blood pressure, anti-aging effects, improved circulation, skin rejuvenation, and even cellulite reduction. Infrared saunas can also help regulate serotonin levels, promoting better mood and sleep. Plus, the deep-penetrating heat boosts metabolism, leading to increased calorie burn.

After my session, I felt amazing. My body had that post-workout glow, but my muscles felt warm and smooth. I slept great that night, and the next morning, my muscle soreness was minimal.

Best of all? Your first session is FREE! What do you have to lose?

With four convenient Knoxville locations—Cedar Bluff, Fountain City, Downtown on Campus, and Hardin Valley—there’s no excuse not to check it out!! Scan the code below to find your closest location and book your FIRST SESSION FREE!!
