Free Cancer Support in Knoxville: You Are Not Alone
Did you know that free support is available for individuals living with cancer and their families in Knoxville? The Cancer Support Community East Tennessee (CSCET) offers a variety of services, including:
Support groups
Yoga & tai chi
Workouts & stress management
Knitting & creative activities
All of these programs are completely free of charge and provided with compassionate care.
Founded in 1990 by Rachael Young, PhD, after her own cancer diagnosis, CSCET was inspired by The Wellness Community in California. Rachael, along with her husband Robert and his brother Lindsay, brought this invaluable support network to East Tennessee. Today, it is part of an international organization dedicated to ensuring no one faces cancer alone.
