Knoxville’s French Broad Veterans Memorial Park: Honoring Service & Sacrifice
Knoxville is creating a meaningful tribute to honor those who have served our country—French Broad Veterans Memorial Park. This beautiful 8.5-acre park, scheduled to open in Summer 2025, will provide a peaceful space for veterans and their families to reflect and remember their brothers and sisters in arms.
Nestled along the French Broad River, the park overlooks the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway, creating a serene setting for remembrance. As a gathering place for all citizens, the park will share the powerful stories of service and sacrifice from the nearly half a million veterans in Tennessee.
This morning, alongside West High and Fulton’s JROTC cadets, we planted over 50 trees, contributing to the beauty and longevity of this special space.
As the park takes shape, it will stand as a living tribute to the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our region’s veterans and their families. Stay tuned for updates as we approach its grand opening in Summer 2025 More Info
