Have Your Say in the Future of Knoxville Parks!
Play Knoxville Master Plan Now Open for Public Input

Big things are happening for Knoxville’s parks, greenways, and community spaces! The City has officially launched the public engagement phase for Play Knoxville, its 10-year Parks & Recreation Master Plan—and your voice matters.

Since the planning process began in January, city leaders and consultants from Perez Planning + Design have met with dozens of focus groups, City Council members, and local stakeholders. They’ve also toured nearly 70 parks across the city to understand the current landscape and identify future needs.

Now, it’s your turn to help shape what comes next.

How to Get Involved:

  • Attend neighborhood and community meetings

  • Join in at local public events

  • Participate in online outreach via social media

  • Use the interactive mapping tool to drop pins and ideas directly on specific park locations

  • Take the online community survey (about 15–20 minutes)

Start sharing your ideas today at: www.PlayKnoxvilleTN.com

The survey and mapping tools are your chance to provide meaningful input that will guide decisions on park improvements, programming, and new recreational opportunities across Knoxville.

Let’s build a better, more connected Knoxville—one park at a time!
