Terror in the Woods Returns to Ijams!

Get ready for a summer scare like no other—Terror in the Woods is BACK at Ijams Nature Center on Saturday, June 28, June 28 | 7:00 PM – 1:00 AM at Ijams Nature Center – 2915 Island Home Ave - and it’s going to be killer (literally)!

In partnership with Central Cinema and the Knoxville Horror Film Fest, this spine-chilling event features two iconic horror flicks:
Know What You Did Last Summer
Candyman

But the thrills don’t stop there—Tennessee Terror Haunted Attractions is unleashing their terrifying haunted trail once again. It’s dark, it’s twisted, and it’s absolutely unforgettable. If you thought walking through the woods at night was spooky before, you’ll never look at them the same way again.

Schedule & Details:

  • Doors open at 7 PM

  • Movies and haunted trail begin around 9 PM (after dark)

  • Tickets: $20 – includes both movies and the haunted trail

Food trucks and a beer garden will be on-site, offering up delicious meals, snacks, and drinks. (Please, no coolers or outside alcohol.)
🐾 Dogs are welcome on leash, though they cannot enter the haunted trail.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, prepare for the fright of your life, and enjoy a scream-worthy summer night under the stars.

NOTE: This event takes place on the Ijams Visitor Center lawn. In case of severe weather, check the Ijams or event social media pages for updates.

Head to the Parrott-Wood Memorial Library (3133 West Old Andrew Johnson Highway) for the Adult’s Art & Craft Social, an inviting space for adults to explore their creativity while enjoying light refreshments and great company. Every Tuesday through August 5th

Each week, participants will get hands-on with unique crafting projects including sewing, crocheting, drawing, painting, and more. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just curious to try something new, all skill levels are welcome.

Enjoy coffee, tea, or water alongside cookies or cake as you create and connect!
