Adults-Only Moonlight Kayak Adventure

Get ready to glide under the stars in an unforgettable evening paddle! Join us for the very first Adults-Only Moonlight Kayak Adventure on July 12th at Rustic River (325 Carmony Lane, Tazewell).

This glowing group float launches from a scenic 2-mile drop point and winds along the river in a radiant parade of light. The full moon will guide the way as we enjoy a peaceful paddle filled with laughter, neon colors, and shimmering reflections.

 Bring the Glow!
Dress in your brightest neon gear and decorate your kayak with glow sticks, LED lights, flashlights—anything that shines! We’ll have some glowing supplies available, but creativity is highly encouraged!

  • Launch: Just after dark

  • Off the water by: 12:30 AM

  • Who: Adults only

Dr. Magra will explore the story of the Watauga Settlement, one of the earliest American settlements west of the Appalachian Mountains. Discover how their resistance to British policies helped shape Jefferson’s revolutionary ideas.

The Canine Clubhaus, nestled in Powell, is a premier dog training and behavior consulting business operated by a seasoned expert - Manuela Connatser.
