Beginner Sushi Class Rolls into Town

Love sushi? Ready to learn how to make it yourself? Join Birmingham Sushi Classes for a Beginner Sushi Class on July 13th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM EDT at Hi-Wire Brewing (2020 Barber Street). Doors open at 6:15 PM.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of sushi making—including how to prepare sushi rice, select fresh ingredients, and roll classic favorites like California rolls, veggie rolls, and more. It’s a fun, casual environment perfect for sushi lovers of all skill levels—no experience required!
Whether you're looking to try something new or refine your rolling skills, this class is a delicious way to spend your evening. And what better place to learn than Hi-Wire Brewing, where you can enjoy great craft beer alongside your sushi creations?

Friends of the Knox County Public Library to Host Special Event at Burlington Branch
The Friends of the Knox County Public Library invite the community to join them for a special event at the Burlington Branch Library on July 10 and July 11.
This two-day event is a wonderful opportunity for book lovers and library supporters to connect, browse, and learn more about how the Friends organization supports the Knox County Public Library system.

July 11 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
