Get Ready for Tennessee’s Tax-Free Weekend – July 25–27!

Mark your calendars! Tennessee’s annual Sales Tax Holiday returns from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 25 through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, giving shoppers the perfect opportunity to stock up on back-to-school essentials and more — all tax-free!

What’s Included:

Clothing:
Apparel items like shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, and dresses are tax-exempt — as long as each item costs $100 or less. Please note: accessories, jewelry, handbags, and sports equipment are not tax-exempt.

School & Art Supplies:
Items like backpacks, binders, crayons, pens, pencils, rulers, and art supplies (including paint, brushes, drawing pads, and clay) are tax-free if individually priced at $100 or less. Keep in mind that bundled items or sets cannot be separated to fall under the threshold.

Computers:
Personal-use laptops, tablets, and desktop computers priced under $1,500 qualify for the tax exemption. However, items like printer ink, flash drives, and separately purchased software are not included.

Online Shopping Counts Too!
Purchases made online are also eligible — as long as the items are shipped to a Tennessee address and meet the tax-free requirements.

Founded and led by Sandra Goetz Puckett, a certified K-5 teacher with over a decade of experience, Stepz has been enriching the lives of its patrons for 10 years through the power of learning and movement.

Sandra's journey into the worlds of education and dance is fueled by her dual passion for teaching and dance, particularly in ballroom and social dance styles. She specializes in choreographing dance routines for weddings and other special occasions, making every event memorable. Her expertise doesn't end with dance; as an accomplished academic teacher, Sandra brings her educational acumen to provide top-notch tutoring services, catering to the holistic development of her students.

Stepz stands out in our community for its unique service combination. Sandra prides herself on her ability to connect with her students on a personal level, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to their individual needs. Her commitment to excellence in both academic and dance instruction makes Stepz a one-of-a-kind establishment where education meets creativity.

Sandra is eager to integrate into the community and share her talents. She is open to participating in public and private events, providing dance demonstrations, and enriching local festivities with the joy of dance. Her previous involvements, like participating in Motley Crew events at hotels, showcase her dedication to making dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

As Stepz continues to grow, Sandra is enthusiastic about expanding her involvement in our area.
