Knoxville's Premier Classical Experience - Knox Music Box

Immerse yourself in the harmonious world of Knox Music Box, Knoxville's newest chamber music concert series founded by the dynamic duo Sarah Miller Senn and Joshua Ulrich. Both seasoned members of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and distinguished alumni of The Juilliard School and The Cleveland Institute of Music, Sarah and Josh bring a global perspective to Knoxville’s music scene.

Knox Music Box offers an unmatched chamber music experience. With a mission to "ignite the souls of a new generation of chamber music lovers," the series not only showcases world-class performances by renowned musicians but also focuses on education and outreach. This unique initiative ensures that every performance is not just heard but deeply felt and understood, aiming to foster a lifelong appreciation for classical music.

Unlike any other in the city, they offer the sole chamber music series that combines high-caliber performances with a robust educational mission. The series is distinctive for its commitment to flying in acclaimed artists from across the nation and its efforts to reach underserved communities. Each concert is designed to be an interactive experience, educating attendees about the intricacies of the performances they witness, thus ensuring classical music is accessible and enjoyable for all.

True to their roots and values, Sarah and Josh are deeply committed to integrating Knox Music Box into our local community. Their approach includes partnering with neighborhood businesses and local artisans to create holistic cultural experiences. For instance, they have had a free lawn concert featuring local children's lemonade and popcorn stands, and recently put on a free picnic concert at Lakeshore Park, where audiences enjoyed bidding on raffle baskets from local businesses as well as ice cream from the Smiley Swirl Ice Cream Truck.

To learn more about Knox Music Box, or to inquire about partnership opportunities, please contact Sarah and Josh via email at [email protected]. Additional details about the concert series and other related content can be found on their website at knoxmusicbox.org, or on their social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Join Knox Music Box in their journey to revive classical music and enrich Knoxville's cultural offerings. Whether you are a classical aficionado or a newcomer to the genre, they promise an unforgettable musical experience that is both enriching and exhilarating.
