Today - Knox Asian Festival Celebrates Arts, Food & Fun at World's Fair Park

The 12th Annual Knox Asian Festival returns to World’s Fair Park on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, bringing a full day of food, fun, and family-friendly activities. Highlights include the colorful Asian Cultural Parade, live music and dance, martial arts and sumo demonstrations, and authentic food from across Asia.

Families can also enjoy the popular “Asian World” Passport Program, where the first 3,000 attendees receive a souvenir passport to stamp at country-themed booths. With free admission, water stations, and plenty of activities for kids, it’s the perfect way to celebrate summer in Knoxville. More Info

Shop Local at the Market Square Farmers Market

Shop fresh and local at the Market Square Farmers Market, open every Wednesday and Saturday, through mid-November. Managed by Nourish Knoxville, this open-air, producer-only market features everything from fresh produce, honey, eggs, and pasture-raised meats to baked goods, flowers, plants, coffee, and artisan crafts—all made or grown within 150 miles of Knoxville.

Concerts on the Square – Music This September

Downtown Knoxville’s Concerts on the Square are back this September, filling Market Square with free live music every Tuesday and select Thursdays from 7–9 PM. Jazz Tuesdays showcase some of the area’s best musicians, from trios to full ensembles, while Variety Thursday on September 18 invites everyone to join in for a lively evening of square dancing.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show under the stars, or grab a seat at a nearby patio for dinner with a soundtrack. Concerts are family-friendly, open-air, and completely free, with parking available in city garages after 6 PM. It’s the perfect way to spend a late-summer evening in the heart of downtown Knoxville. 21st Annual International Food Festival

Get your taste buds ready—Knoxville’s favorite foodie event returns this fall! The 21st Annual International Food Festival takes over World’s Fair Park on Sunday, September 21st, from 12–8 PM, and admission is completely free.

Sample authentic dishes from more than 25 countries, with small plates priced between $1–$10. From savory street foods to sweet global desserts, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Beyond the food, enjoy live music and dance performances, kids’ activities like bounce houses and face painting, henna art, and plenty of shaded picnic space to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
