Mighty Musical Monday: Freddie Brabson & Tinca Tinca - No-Cost Concert at the Tennessee Theatre
Mark your calendars for an afternoon of music and community at the historic Tennessee Theatre with Mighty Musical Monday on Monday, September 1st at noon (12pm)—a free concert you won’t want to miss! This edition will showcase the incredible talent of House Organist Freddie Brabson on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, joined by the Knoxville-based indie rock band Tinca Tinca.
Known for their ambient, melodic sound, Tinca Tinca blends influences from artists like Grizzly Bear, Flaming Lips, and Arctic Monkeys to create upbeat songs that inspire joy, connection, and hope. Since their debut in 2021, the band has been featured on WDVX, WUTK, and Real Knoxville Music, and has graced stages at the Tennessee Theatre, Bijou Theatre, Dogwood Arts Festival, and more. Their growing presence in Knoxville’s music scene makes them an exciting complement to Brabson’s artistry on the Mighty Wurlitzer.
The concert is free and open to the public, making it the perfect lunchtime outing. While lunch will not be provided, guests are welcome to bring their own, and concessions will be available for purchase inside the theatre. Come enjoy a one-of-a-kind musical experience that celebrates both Knoxville’s musical heritage and its vibrant, evolving local talent. More Info
