Bow Wow Bingo: A Family-Friendly Bingo Night for Pets & People

Grab the family and your furry friend for Bow Wow Bingo—a dog-themed, kid-friendly bingo evening hosted by the Knox Vintage Pet Project. Set for Sunday, October 12th, at Orange Hat Brewing Company in Oak Ridge, this event brings together bingo fun, pet adoption opportunities, and community spirit—all in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.

Starting at 4:00 PM, grab some bingo cards ($5 each) - and don’t forget your pups, as they’re welcome to join in! All proceeds support the Knox Vintage Pet Project’s mission of connecting adoptable animals with loving homes.

Knoxville Music Festival To Light Up Covenant Health Park

Knoxville is tuning up for a monumental musical experience! On Saturday, October 18th, the brand-new Covenant Health Park will swap bats and gloves for rhythm and choreography, hosting its first-ever concert—Knoxville Music Festival, presented by Jammin’ 99.7 WJBE. Gates open at 3:00 PM, with the show kicking off at 4:00 PM.

This isn't your average festival—imagine the biggest R&B and line-dancing extravaganza Tennessee has ever seen, all under one stadium roof. The lineup brings soulful energy with performances by Boosie, Cupid, Pokey Bear, Lakeside, and Tabu. Add in food, music, and that electric tailgate-style vibe, and you’ve got yourself a night to remember.

A portion of ticket sales will support the Tank Strickland Foundation, adding community impact to a night of fun. Choose your experience:

The Fabulous Fall Plant Sale returns to UT Gardens, Knoxville, 2518 Jacob Drive, on October 3rd–4th. Members, volunteers, and UT employees can enjoy early access and a 10% discount during the preview sale on Friday, October 3rd, from 4–7 PM (new memberships available on-site).

The public sale follows on Saturday, October 4th, from 9 AM–2 PM, featuring native perennials, houseplants, trees, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, and tropical foliage. UT Gardens staff and Master Gardeners will be on hand with expert planting advice, and proceeds benefit the Gardens’ ongoing programs and growth. More Info
