Candidate Forum Meets Game Night at Kern’s Food Hall

TONIGHT - Knoxville voters will have the chance to experience a one-of-a-kind political event at City Council Candidate Forum: The Game Show tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Kern’s Food Hall.

Hosted by Compass and Inside of Knoxville, the forum blends serious policy conversations with lighthearted, game show-inspired rounds. Instead of the usual debate style, candidates will face challenges like Wheel of Fortune issue roulette, The Price Is Right budget game, Is It Cake? icebreakers, and even Hot Ones-style stump speeches.

The goal is to make local elections more engaging and accessible, allowing candidates to show their personality while still addressing real issues. With early voting running October 15th–30th and Election Day set for November 4th, the event encourages the community to get informed, entertained, and ready to cast their ballots.
