Based on the bestselling memoir by Mitch Albom and adapted for the stage by Jeffrey Hatcher and Albom, Tuesdays With Morrie tells the moving true story of a once-career-driven journalist who reconnects with his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz, after learning he is living with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease. Knoxville is set to welcome one of the most anticipated Christian music events of the year when Winter Jam 2026 rolls into town on February 7th at the Food City Center. Part of the long-running Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, the show delivers an evening of high-energy music, inspiring messages, and community fellowship featuring some of today’s most beloved artists in contemporary Christian music.

Setsubun marks the transition from winter to spring in Japan and is traditionally celebrated with mamemaki—the act of throwing roasted soybeans to chase away bad luck and welcome good fortune.
