Pup Speed Playdating at Zoom Room

Looking for a tail-wagging way to celebrate Valentine’s weekend? Zoom Room (10938 Spring Bluff Way) is hosting a Pup Speed Playdating event this February 14th — and it’s all about safe, structured fun for your furry Valentine.
This special event is designed to give dogs the chance to mix, mingle, and make new friends in a controlled indoor environment.
🐶 Playdate Schedule:
Puppy Playdate: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Small Dog Playdate: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Medium Dog Playdate: 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
High Energy Playdate: 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM
By grouping dogs based on size and energy level, Zoom Room ensures a safe and positive experience for every pup — whether they’re tiny and timid or big and bouncy.
This is a great opportunity for socialization, exercise, and fun, especially during the colder months when outdoor play can be limited. Zoom Room’s indoor dog gym environment provides a clean, climate-controlled space where pups can interact under professional supervision.
Spots are limited, so advance sign-up is encouraged. You can register online at https://www.zoomroom.com or call (865) 378-7200 to reserve your pup’s place.
Because Valentine’s Day isn’t just for humans — it’s for happy tails, too.
PB&J Mixtape Day Returns to Xul Beer Company

Mark your calendars, Knoxville — PB&J Mixtape Day is dropping at Xul Beer Company on March 21st at 11:00 AM, and it’s shaping up to be one of downtown’s most flavor-packed parties of the spring.
Hosted at Xul’s downtown location at 213 E 5th Ave, this annual celebration marks the release of eight different PB&J Mixtape flavors, available both on draft and in cans. It’s a creative, nostalgic twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly combo—reimagined through bold craft brewing.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a live DJ spinning music, local food trucks serving up favorites, and guest taps alongside the featured PB&J releases. The 2026 flavor lineup includes grape, banana, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, cherry, and peach, giving fans plenty of options to sample and compare.
PB&J Mixtape Day has become a highly anticipated event for craft beer lovers, drawing a lively crowd to Emory Place each year. Whether you’re a longtime Xul fan or simply curious about how childhood nostalgia translates into a pint glass, this release party delivers big flavor and high energy.
If you love inventive brews, downtown vibes, and a little playful fun with your craft beer, plan to be there when the taps start flowing.

Create Your Own Mosaic Stepping Stone at Ijams

Looking for a creative way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Ijams Nature Center is hosting a hands-on Mosaic Stepping Stone Craft workshop on February 22nd
Presented in partnership with Mountain Mama’s, this two-hour class will guide participants through the process of designing and creating their own 12-inch mosaic stepping stone. Attendees will learn how to mix concrete and place colorful marbles and pre-cut ceramic pieces into their design, creating a one-of-a-kind piece perfect for a garden or outdoor space.
No prior experience is needed, making this workshop a welcoming opportunity for anyone who wants to try something new. The finished stepping stone is both decorative and functional — a handmade piece you’ll be proud to display at home.
The cost to participate is $55, and advance registration is required through Ijams. Since winter temperatures can affect outdoor concrete pieces, organizers recommend keeping your finished stepping stone indoors during freezing weather to prevent damage.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or simply looking for a creative escape surrounded by nature, this workshop offers a relaxed, supportive environment to make something beautiful from scratch. More Info & Register

Business Spotlight on Treefrog USA, Inc.

Born from innovation, wellness, and a desire to solve a very real problem, Treefrog USA, Inc. is a Knoxville-based company bringing an all-natural approach to everyday pain relief. Treefrog Topical Pain Relief Gel was developed using an ancient plant-based recipe from the rainforests of Costa Rica and is now making waves both locally and nationally.
Treefrog was created by Lisa Kelechava as a strategic expansion of her long-established Knoxville business, Joy To The World Collectibles, which has designed and manufactured high-end Christmas ornaments for 28 years. Because that business is seasonal, Lisa spent five years intentionally searching for an everyday product that could meet a growing need. That search led to Treefrog—and to addressing what she describes as a modern epidemic: chronic pain.
With increasingly sedentary lifestyles and technology-driven strain, pain issues are affecting people at younger ages than ever before. Treefrog was designed as a next-generation pain relief solution—one that is plant-based, all natural, drug-free, CBD-free, and effective. Users rely on it for everyday aches and pains, workout recovery, and muscle soreness, and the company has also seen promising results for neuropathy pain related to chemotherapy and diabetes.
Those results are now being studied more formally. Treefrog is currently in clinical trials at NYU Medical School, focused specifically on neuropathy, with findings expected to be released soon. Meanwhile, the product has already proven itself in the market. Treefrog has been sold online for two years and recently expanded its in-store retail presence, launching in Food City pharmacies throughout Knoxville and the Tri-Cities in August 2025. It is also available locally at Hoskins Drug Store in Clinton.
The brand itself is intentionally modern, approachable, and eco-conscious. Treefrog comes in eco-friendly packaging, appeals to consumers young and old, and is designed for daily use—not just occasional relief. In August, the company also introduced the Treefrog Traveler Air Pump, a compact device that can be taken anywhere, even in carry-on luggage. The response to the new air pump has been overwhelmingly positive and adds another layer of convenience to the Treefrog experience.
Though Treefrog is now sold nationally, Knoxville remains its home base. The company has exhibited at the Knoxville Marathon in 2023 and 2024, partnered with Knoxville-based social media influencers, and plans to continue expanding nationwide while keeping operations rooted locally. Media sample boxes are available upon request.
Treefrog USA, Inc. is located at 234 Morrell Road, Suite 181. More information about the product line can be found at www.treefrogrelief.com. Lisa Kelechava can be reached directly at [email protected] or (865) 300-8963.
With deep Knoxville roots, rainforest origins, and a science-backed future, Treefrog is redefining pain relief—naturally.
