Explore Woodworking, Live Edge Slabs, and Big Savings at Jim McNutt Designs March Madness Open House

Woodworking enthusiasts, DIY homeowners, and anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship are invited to a special March Madness Open House at Jim McNutt Designs on March 13th–14th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This two-day event offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the world of custom woodworking, featuring table building classes, hardwood flooring installation tips, and live demonstrations. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore a wide selection of wood species, including mantels, barnwood walls, live edge slabs, and exotic imported hardwoods.
In addition to the educational experiences, attendees can take advantage of spring liquidation savings of 50–75% off select in-house items — a great opportunity for homeowners, designers, and builders looking for unique materials or statement pieces at discounted prices.
Jim McNutt Designs specializes in custom furniture, fine wood interiors, and artistic wood creations, combining craftsmanship with functional design. The workshop and showroom are located at 3636 Division Street NW.

Fore the Love of Animals - Topgolf Fundraiser Supports Humane Society Tennessee Valley

This high-energy tournament invites participants of all skill levels — no golf experience required — to enjoy friendly competition, delicious food and drinks, and an afternoon of community impact. Teams of three can register for $350 per team, which includes gameplay along with food and beverages, making it a perfect outing for friends, coworkers, or organizations looking to support a meaningful mission together.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit HSTV and its network of 55 partner shelters across 33 counties, helping provide lifesaving care, adoptions, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter services, and low-cost veterinary programs throughout East Tennessee. Funds also support humane education initiatives and a pet food pantry that assists families in keeping their beloved pets at home.
Beyond the fun of the competition, every swing helps create better outcomes for animals in need across the region. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses or individuals who want to make an even greater impact.
Whether you’re coming for the golf, the food, or the cause, this event promises an unforgettable afternoon that helps animals find loving homes and essential care. More Info & Register
