Families looking for a fun and engaging summer option for their kids will soon have a new opportunity in Knoxville as Kidcam Summer Camp arrives at the University of Tennessee Knoxville TRECS facility. The camp will run May 26th - July 31st and is open to children ages Kindergarten through 13.

Campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities throughout the week, including swimming multiple times weekly, STEM projects, sports, water play, and life skills activities. Kids will also take part in Kidcam’s favorite traditions such as talent shows, counselor competitions, and exciting themed activities, all while exploring the spaces of the TRECS Center and experiencing a true on-campus summer environment.

Designed to make summer easy for parents and exciting for kids, Kidcam offers flexible week-to-week scheduling, sibling discounts, lunch options, and extended hours. With more than 50 years of experience and accreditation from the American Camp Association, Kidcam aims to provide a safe, engaging, and unforgettable summer camp experience.

Community members are invited to attend a Human Trafficking Awareness Training and Open Networking Event on March 9th at 8:30 AM at Life House Coffee, 7545 Brickyard Road in Powell. The event is open to the public and aims to educate attendees about the realities of human trafficking and how communities can respond.

The training will be presented by Street Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking and supporting victims. The session will last approximately one hour and will provide valuable insight for anyone interested in learning more about the issue and how to recognize warning signs within their community.

Following the training, guests are encouraged to stay for open networking, providing an opportunity to connect with local businesses, community leaders, and residents who share an interest in education, awareness, and community support.

Get ready for a fun and unforgettable experience as Baby Goat Yoga returns to The Little Ponderosa Zoo this April. The popular event will take place on April 4th, April 11th, and April 18th, with sessions offered at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM each day.

Participants will enjoy a relaxing outdoor yoga session surrounded by playful baby goats, creating a lighthearted and memorable atmosphere for both beginners and experienced yogis. The sessions will once again be led by Kenda Reynolds, who will guide participants through a yoga practice while the curious goats wander, climb, and interact with guests.

Baby Goat Yoga has become a favorite for those looking to combine wellness, laughter, and animal encounters in a unique setting. Whether you're a yoga enthusiast or simply looking for a fun outing with friends or family, the event offers a great opportunity to enjoy nature and adorable animals at the same time.

Families are invited to celebrate the Easter season with a fun and festive FREE Easter Egg Hunt at B&B Indoor Foam Dart Arena on April 5th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event will take place at 6709 Maynardville Pike in Knoxville, where kids can explore the arena in search of hidden eggs and exciting prizes.

This special event is open to all ages and offers a unique indoor setting for a classic Easter tradition. Participants will hunt throughout the arena for colorful eggs while enjoying a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.

The egg hunt will take place from 10 AM to 11 AM. Note that this portion of the event is egg hunting only, with no foam dart blaster play during that time. After the hunt concludes, guests are encouraged to stick around when the arena opens at 11 AM to enjoy the action and have a blast.
