Bearden History Fair Highlights Knoxville’s Local Heritage

Those curious about Knoxville’s history are invited to attend the Bearden History Fair on April 18th, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Central Baptist Church in Bearden (6300 Deane Hill Dr).

Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Weekend

Thousands of runners, spectators, and volunteers will gather in downtown Knoxville for the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Weekend, taking place April 11th–12th.

The popular annual event offers multiple race options including a full marathon, half marathon, 5K, relay race, and children’s run, making it accessible for runners of all ages and experience levels. Rossini Festival & International Street Fair Returns to Downtown

Downtown Knoxville will come alive with music, culture, and international flavor when the Rossini Festival and International Street Fair returns April 18th–19th.

Hosted by Knoxville Opera, this free community festival transforms parts of Gay Street, Market Square, and Krutch Park into a lively celebration of global cultures. Visitors can enjoy live performances across multiple stages, street performers, international cuisine, artisan vendors, and cultural exhibits representing traditions from around the world.

Named after famous Italian composer Gioachino Rossini, the festival also highlights Knoxville’s performing arts scene with opera performances and musical showcases throughout the weekend. Dogwood Arts Festival at World’s Fair Park
