Knoxville Margarita Festival Returns May 30

Get ready to raise a glass at the third annual Knoxville Margarita Festival on May 30, 2026, at The Mill & Mine. This lively evening event invites guests to sample creative margaritas from some of the area’s favorite restaurants as they compete for the title of Best Margarita in Knoxville.

General admission runs from 6:00–9:00 PM, with an exclusive VIP hour from 5:00–6:00 PM for early access to the festivities. Each guest will receive a Sample Passport featuring 10 mini margaritas, allowing you to explore a variety of styles—whether you prefer yours salted, shaken, stirred, or frozen.

In addition to tasting your way through the competition, guests can enjoy live entertainment, fun photo opportunities, and dinner options available for purchase from local food vendors. After sampling, attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite margarita of the night.

This event is 21 and over, and alcohol service will end at 8:45 PM. Gather your friends, sip responsibly, and join the fun for a spirited night in downtown Knoxville. More Info

Hard Knox Roller Derby Celebrates 20 Years!

Get ready for fast-paced action and hard-hitting excitement as Hard Knox Roller Derby kicks off its 20th Anniversary season!

Fans of all ages are invited to come out for an evening of thrilling, family-friendly roller derby competition. The event features two exciting matchups as the HKRD Allstars take on Fayetteville Roller Derby, followed by the HKRD Brawlers facing off against Somer City Roller Derby.

The action begins when doors open at 4:00 PM, with the Allstars game starting at 5:00 PM and the Brawlers hitting the track at 7:00 PM.

Tickets will be available soon. Advance tickets are $15, while tickets at the door are $20. Kids ages 11–17 and seniors can attend for $10, making it a great outing for families and roller derby fans alike.

Luck of the Village: A St. Paddy’s Day Celebration

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a truly magical setting at Luck of the Village, happening March 17 at 6:00 PM at Ancient Lore Village. This enchanting evening invites guests to step beyond the ordinary and experience Irish folklore, glowing fire features, and the playful spirit of Celtic legends.

As night falls over the village, wander beneath twinkling lights while the grounds come alive with music, storytelling, and a bit of mischief. Guests can take part in the Great Leprechaun Scavenger Quest, keep watch for roaming leprechauns and other magical characters, and enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with surprises.

The evening also includes a delicious Irish-inspired dinner, while themed cocktails and drink specials will be available for purchase throughout the night.

Celebrate Butterfly Day at the Zoo

Flutter into a fun and educational day at Zoo Knoxville on Sunday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as we celebrate the beautiful native butterflies of East Tennessee.

Guests of all ages are invited to discover the many butterfly species that call our region home and learn simple ways to help these important pollinators thrive. Stop by the Event Lawn to participate in Butterfly Day activity stations hosted by the Zoo Knoxville team, where families can explore interactive learning experiences all about butterflies and their habitats.

Complete the activity stations and you could earn a special reward! The first 100 participants to finish the stations will receive a limited-edition Butterfly Badge sticker.
