Get ready for a weekend of adventure as Knoxville’s favorite nature hub transforms into a lively festival filled with outdoor activities, live entertainment, and community connection. This two-day event offers something for everyone—from trail running and kayaking to yoga, hiking, and family-friendly fun.

Guests can enjoy a wide variety of free activities, including guided nature walks, paddleboarding, slacklining, birdwatching, kids’ activities, and exciting extreme sports demonstrations. The festival also features local vendors, makers, food trucks, and wellness experiences like yoga and meditation.

Some popular activities—such as paddleboard yoga, kayaking, biking, and the “Dirty Bird” 5K-ish trail run—require advance registration due to limited space.

Best of all, proceeds from the festival support local outdoor resources, making it a fun and meaningful way to enjoy Knoxville’s natural beauty. More Info

Ayers Elementary is gearing up for a fun and educational Farm Day on Friday, May 8, and they’re looking for community volunteers to help bring the experience to life for students!

This special event gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn about farm life, agriculture, and traditional skills. Organizers are hoping to connect with individuals or groups who can share their knowledge or provide demonstrations. Areas of interest include tractors, farm equipment, goats, pigs, cows, lambs/sheep, ponies, quilting, basket weaving, butter making, soap making, and even homemade ice cream.
