The kitten yoga fundraiser that packed the room is back — and there are only 15 spots.

The Kitten Yoga Fundraiser returns on May 22nd from 6:00 PM–7:30 PM at Scruffy's Cat Cafe (1015 N Broadway) - a yoga class surrounded by Scruffy's resident cats and kittens, raising money for two great causes at once.

Half of every ticket goes to the Nomar & Mia Compassion Fund (a fund created through the UT Veterinary Department to help individuals struggling with emergency vet bills) and the other half supports Scruffy's Cat Cafe directly.

Bring your crew, grab some food, and get your bingo card ready. BeLocal Of K-Town hosts BeLocal Bingo at Kern's Food Hall (2110 Chapman Hwy) on May 19th from 6:30 PM–8:00 PM - and it's completely free to play and free to attend.

Whether you're a bingo veteran or have never dabbled, this is a low-key, high-fun night out with food, drinks, and prizes in one of Knoxville's most vibrant food halls.

Powell's sweetest summer tradition is back for its third year — and it's bigger than ever. The Third Annual Blackberry Festival and 5K comes to 2910 W Emory Rd in Powell on June 27th from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, presented by Powell Presbyterian Church.

Kick off the morning with a 5K and fun run, then stick around for a full community festival featuring food trucks, live music, craft vendors, a Kid Zone, games, and even a firetruck to explore. The Knoxville Medieval Festival makes its debut on June 6th from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM at 5821 Babelay Road - a full day of medieval entertainment, craft vendors, food vendors, and the kind of spectacle you don't see very often in East Tennessee.

The headline showdown: a Robin Hood versus Maid Marian archery competition, with Robin Hood's own fletcher Greywood on hand to craft extra arrows and demonstrate his skills. If archery isn't your weapon of choice, try your hand at all-day medieval axe throwing challenges — individual and couples competition included.

Presented by Valraven Forge & Craftworks, this is shaping up to be a genuine tradition in the making for Knoxville. Best of all? Free admission. Just show up and step back in time. (Service animals only — no pets please.)
