The Old City Goes Full Dolly with Rhinestone Fest

Rhinestone Fest: For the Love of Dolly returns to Historic Old City for its 6th year on June 5th-6th — a completely free, community-spirited celebration of all things Dolly Parton.
This isn't an official Dollywood event; it's something arguably more fun: a Knoxville neighborhood transforming itself into a glittering, rhinestone-studded party built on pure love for the Queen of Country. Live music fills the streets from multiple stages, local vendors and artists set up shop throughout the Old City, and a themed outdoor market brings together some of the most creative makers and sellers East Tennessee has to offer.
Family activities round out the weekend, so whether you're bringing the little ones or making it a girls' night out, there is no wrong way to enjoy Rhinestone Fest.
Best of all? Admission is completely free. Just show up in your finest rhinestone attire and let the good times roll. More Info
Elmo is Bringing his Moves to the Tennessee Theatre

Sesame Street Live: Elmo's Got the Moves comes to the Tennessee Theatre (604 S. Gay Street) on June 10th at 6:00 PM — an interactive live stage show that puts kids right in the middle of the action from the very first moment.
Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch are all here, leading the audience through yoga poses, jump rope, cartwheels, and every silly dance move imaginable. If your little one has ever watched Sesame Street and wished they could be part of it, this is about as close as it gets.
It's joyful, it's energetic, and it's the kind of night that kids talk about for months afterward. Every attendee — including little ones — needs a ticket, so grab seats before they're gone. More Info
