Festival on the 4th at World’s Fair Park

The City of Knoxville's Festival on the 4th returns to World's Fair Park Performance and Festival Lawns on July 4th from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM — and with free admission, free parking, live music, and fireworks over the downtown skyline, this is the quintessential East Tennessee Fourth of July.
The evening kicks off with Dirty Grass Soul taking the Festival Lawn stage from 5:00 PM–7:55 PM, delivering the kind of high-energy live music that gets a summer crowd moving. Then at 8:00 PM, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra takes over for their 42nd Annual Free Lawson Family Foundation Independence Day Concert — a beloved Knoxville tradition that fills World's Fair Park with the soaring sounds of America's greatest patriotic music under open skies.
The grand finale comes at approximately 9:45 PM, when fireworks launch from the Henley Street Bridge and light up the night above the Tennessee River. In between, enjoy axe throwing, mini-golf, and paddle boats, plus food vendors on both lawns to keep you fueled all evening.
Free parking is available at World's Fair & Blackstock Parking Lots and throughout the downtown garage system. The event is rain or shine — so mark your calendar, gather your crew, and come celebrate America's birthday the Knoxville way. More Info

History Hour with Tim Holder

If you love American history, this is one free Tuesday morning you won't want to miss! The Farragut Museum's History Hour continues on June 23rd at 11:00 AM at Farragut Town Hall (11408 Municipal Center Drive, Farragut) — and this month's featured speaker is someone who really knows his history. Tim Holder — author, radio host, and history professor — will take the audience through the lives and legacies of the nation's first six presidents in what promises to be an engaging, accessible, and genuinely fascinating hour.
The talk is part of the Town of Farragut's America 250 celebrations, honoring the U.S. Semiquincentennial, and Historic Resources Coordinator Kristi Vining says it best: "It is sure to be educational and engaging." Admission is completely free, light refreshments will be available, and after the lecture the Farragut Museum will be open for tours — so plan to arrive a little early and make a morning of it. Whether you're a history buff, a curious learner, or just someone who enjoys a great talk in a welcoming community setting, this is exactly the kind of event that makes Farragut special. More Info

Surgery Recovery Starts Before Surgery
Many patients prepare extensively for the procedure itself — but recovery preparation often gets overlooked.
Healing increases demand for nutrients involved in tissue repair, immune support, collagen production, and recovery. HealFast was designed specifically to support the body before and after surgery with physician-formulated nutritional support created for the recovery process.
Instead of scrambling afterward, many patients now prepare for recovery before surgery even happens.
Because supporting recovery starts long before the procedure is over.
