Irish Fest on the Hill returns on August 8th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in downtown Knoxville. The event honors Knoxville's deep Irish heritage through an afternoon of live Irish bands, traditional Irish dancers, kids' games, and classic Irish food — the kind of spread that leaves everyone happy and full.

Irish Fest on the Hill is a living celebration of that legacy, bringing families, history lovers, and anyone who just loves a good time together for a day of music and community that belongs entirely to this place.

The 13th Annual Knox Asian Festival takes over World's Fair Park and the Knoxville Museum of Art on August 30th, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Presented by the Asian Culture Center of Tennessee, this is one of the most genuinely immersive cultural events in the entire state — and it's right here in Knoxville.

Fourteen countries come to life across the festival grounds: Japan, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Nepal, and Pakistan. Each country has its own booth featuring authentic food, interactive activities, and live performances. The Cultural Parade kicks things off at 10:30 AM at the Water Fountain on the Festival Lawn and sets the tone for a day that is as educational as it is joyful.

One of the most beloved features is the Passport Program — the first 3,000 visitors receive a real passport book to stamp at each cultural booth, turning the whole experience into an adventure the whole family can share. There will also be ongoing performances throughout the day on the Festival Park Lawn, free water and mist stations to keep you cool in the August heat, and a food market stretching across both World's Fair Park lawns.

Want the VIP experience? A special VIP Night takes place the evening before — August 29th from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM — featuring a performance by Taiko drummers and a Koto harp ensemble. (Note: VIP tickets sell out, so grab them early.) More Info
