Tea & Treasures (4104 W. Martin Mill Pike) — a charming shop billed as "a unique collection of old and new" — hosts its 2nd Saturday Marketplace every second Saturday through October, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (weather permitting). Think live music, a food truck, outdoor vendors, and plenty of shade under the magnolias. It's the kind of laid-back Saturday market that's easy to turn into a full afternoon.

The next two summer dates are: July 11th — the perfect mid-summer outing before the heat of August sets in; August 8th — a great way to spend a summer Saturday before the season winds down.

Whether you're hunting for something unique, browsing what local vendors have out, or just want somewhere relaxed to spend a few hours with good music in the background, this is worth adding to your Saturday rotation.

Kern's Bakery and BeLocal of K-Town are teaming up for a massive Bingo Night on July 1st from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Kern's Bakery (2110 Chapman Hwy), and this month's proceeds benefit Relaunch — a Knoxville nonprofit doing meaningful work to address the root causes of chronic homelessness in our community, from mental health support to job training and low-barrier shelter access.

Bring your crew, grab a drink, and play some bingo. Two hours of fun with a local cause behind it. Whether you're a regular at Kern's or you've been meaning to check it out, this is a good excuse to walk through the door.

Knoxville Social Circle is heading to Augusta Quarry (520 Augusta Ave) on July 19th at 12:00 PM for an afternoon of swimming, floating, relaxing, and soaking up some summer sun. Whether you want to jump in, lounge by the water, or just hang out and chat, the format is as low-key as a summer afternoon should be.

Knoxville Social Circle is a local social group designed for exactly this kind of thing — a casual, welcoming way to meet people in the city through shared experiences rather than awkward mixers. The quarry setting makes it even easier: there's something about water that puts everyone at ease.

Pack your swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, water, and snacks (no food or drink is provided). Bring a friend or come solo — the whole point is to meet people and make the most of a summer Sunday.

GalFunction and Show Your Shine LLC are hosting a Friday Table Talk at The Hub Pro Studio (1104 Merchant Drive, Suite 103) on July 10th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM — an hour and a half of guided conversation, honest dialogue, and the kind of support that only comes from fellow female entrepreneurs who are in it alongside you.

The format is refreshingly simple: bring your lunch, and they'll provide complimentary coffee, tea, and water. No formal presentation, no pitch session — just meaningful exchange and community connection in a space designed for it.

Whether you're just getting started, deep in the grind of growing something, or looking to connect with other women who understand the specific challenges of entrepreneurship, this is the kind of gathering that tends to be more useful than most scheduled networking events.

🗓️ June 27th - Summer is peak boating season, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Knoxville-First Flotilla wants to make sure you're out there safely. 🗓️ July 4th - The Knoxville Community Bandperforms at the Marble Pavilion at Lakeshore Park (5930 Lyons View Pike) at 12:00 PM, with a program of patriotic favorites timed perfectly for the nation's Semiquincentennial. The setting alone is worth the trip with the Marble Pavilion sitting on the banks of the Tennessee River.

🗓️ July 10th - Movies Under the Stars returns for its 14th year at Ijams Nature Center, and the July screening is a classic that'll hit different under an open sky. 🗓️ August 8th - Irish Fest on the Hill returns at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in downtown Knoxville, from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. The event honors Knoxville's deep Irish heritage through an afternoon of live Irish bands, traditional Irish dancers, kids' games, and classic Irish food — the kind of spread that leaves everyone happy and full.
