The music will take over Yee-Haw Brewing Co., Central Filling Station, Schulz Bräu Brewing, Next Level Brewing, and Corner Lounge, creating a unique music discovery festival featuring some of the best up-and-coming talent from Knoxville and beyond.

In addition to live performances, attendees can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, and plenty of great drinks throughout the event.

And the best part? It's FREE and open to the public!

A Knoxville tradition for nearly 50 years, Greek Fest at St. George Greek Orthodox Church returns September 11–13, inviting the community to enjoy authentic Greek food, music, dancing, culture, and hospitality.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church has celebrated its annual Greek Fest since 1977. What began as a way to introduce Knoxville to Greek food, culture, and dance has grown into one of the city's most popular cultural celebrations, attracting more than 20,000 visitors each year.

Festival-goers can enjoy a delicious variety of traditional Greek dishes, along with live music and performances by the church's award-winning Greek dancers. These talented dancers train throughout the year and compete in competitions across the country.

Visitors can also take part in an introductory church tour for an opportunity to learn more about Greek Orthodox history, traditions, and faith.

But Greek Fest is about more than food and fun—it's also an event rooted in service to the East Tennessee community. Through the Theotokos Fund, proceeds from the festival help support charitable organizations and local ministries. Past recipients have included Habitat for Humanity, Mobile Meals, Catholic Charities, underprivileged students, and many other organizations and individuals in need.

So come hungry, bring your family and friends, and experience the sights, sounds, flavors, and traditions of Greece right here in Knoxville.

The Green Thumb Gala returns to the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum for an unforgettable evening celebrating the beauty of the Garden and the community that helps it thrive.

As the Garden's largest fundraising event of the year, the Green Thumb Gala brings guests together under an elegant tent on the Great Lawn, surrounded by iconic stone walls, a picturesque maple grove, and the enchanting Secret Garden.

Guests can look forward to a festive cocktail hour and garden-inspired silent auction, followed by a seated dinner, live entertainment, and a one-of-a-kind live auction.

Knoxville will come together on August 31, 2026, for a meaningful evening of remembrance, awareness, recovery, and hope during International Overdose Awareness Day. Volunteer Landing | August 31 | 6–8 p.m.

For the past six years, this community gathering has brought together families, advocates, organizations, and community leaders to honor those lost to overdose, support those still fighting, celebrate recovery, and remind everyone that hope is always possible—and no one has to face this alone.

This year's event will feature a variety of activities and resources, including:
