Marble City Opera Presents Tenors, Tuxedos, and Stalactites
Marble City Opera kicks off its twelfth season on Saturday, August 17th at 5:00 p.m. with a concert titled Tenors, Tuxedos, and Stalactites. The performance will be inside Historic Cherokee Caverns, 8524 Oak Ridge Highway, where the temperature is always 58° and the acoustics are excellent. Tickets for the concert are $25 and are on sale now at MarbleCityOpera.com/tickets.
Marble City Opera brings world class singers, directors, and conductors to the stage while maintaining a dedication to creating opportunities for local, regional, and emerging artists. Marble City Opera is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with strong community ties and connections to other organizations, businesses, schools, and artists within Knoxville, and the East Tennessee community.

Knox County's First All-Boys Charter School Welcomes Students
Knoxville Preparatory School has opened its doors as Knox County Schools' first all-boys charter school. Located at 967 Irwin St., Knox Prep starts with 105 sixth graders.
The school plans to expand annually, reaching a full capacity of 700 students by the 2030-2031 school year, eventually serving as both a middle and high school.
National Fox Day - Bring Your Fox to Carolina Ale House
National Fox Day is on Thursday, August 8th! Like Fox Body Mustangs?Bring your Fox if you have one. If you don’t own one, don’t worry, all Ford Mustangs are welcome! Stop by Carolina Ale House, 9045 Kingston Pike at 6pm for a meet and greet, and hang out for a couple of hours for conversation and food.

Emotional Sobriety: Each Thursday at 5pm at The Kraken’s Cup. The Kracken’s Cup has partnered with Sober in Knoxville to create a safe and accepting environment for their N Knoxville meetups. Questions? Email [email protected].
